Further to the Terms of Use provided on afstandedu.com, the official website of Afstand Education, we do not claim any liability and warranty regarding the payment of fees (“Fees”), that are related to the program(s) user(s) select(s) through our platform. Such “Fees” include, but are not limited the course(s) fee(s). Further, the user also understands, and agrees that: -

• The User is responsible for making all necessary payments regarding the “Fees”, preferably on, or before the date specified by Afstand Education.
• The Online Payment facility provided to its users by Afstand Education is neither a Banking nor a Financial Service. It is a feature meant merely for facilitating ease of payment (“Payment Gateway Service Provider”). The Payment Gateway Service Provider provides Online Payment, Collection, and Remittance services for the transactions on Afstand Education using secure, and authorized banking infrastructure, and Card-based payment gateway networks.
• While providing such payment facilities through the Payment Gateway Service Provider, Afstand Education is not to be considered a trustee, and it is not acting in a fiduciary capacity in relation to the payments made by the User(s) against the purchase(s) of Service(s) on the official website, “afstandedu.com”.
• All payments made by the User(s) through the Payment Gateway Service Provider require a minimum of One (1) to Two (2) working days to be effectively processed.
• User(s) have to take full responsibility for the payment of the applicable fee(s), i.e., making the payment(s) through the Payment Gateway Service Provider at his/her/their own risk. Afstand Education shall not be held responsible for any failure or delay in the time taken to process the paid Fee(s) by User(s) through the Payment Gateway Service Provider.
• While availing any of the available payment methods on the website, Afstand Education takes no responsibility, or assumes any liability whatsoever, regarding any loss or damage arising directly, or indirectly to User(s) due to
  i- lack of authorization for any transaction,
  ii- any payment issues arising out of the transaction(s),
  iii- decline of such transactions for any reason whatsoever, and
  iv- use, or the inability to use the Payment page maintained by the Payment Gateway Service Provider.
• Afstand Education is not to be held liable for any loss or damage suffered by the User(s) due to any failure, delay, or interruption from the Payment Gateway Service Provider, including but not limited to Partial, and/or Total Failure of any Network Terminal, Data Processing System, Computer Tele-transmission, or Telecommunications System, and/or other circumstances, which are in the absolute control of the Payment Gateway Service Provider, solely.
• In the event service(s) is rejected by Afstand Education on the grounds of delayed payment by the User(s), the User(s) need to provide written request(s) along with payment receipts validating payment(s) made for the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) enabled Course(s). Upon verification of submitted requests and payment receipts, Afstand Education shall consider requests for refund of payments, according to its internal refund policies published on the official company website.
• The Payment Gateway Service Provider shall resolve reported complaints by User(s) according to its internal policies, and rules.
