He was successful for a short period, but later on, due to operational challenges, it did not work out for him. Cut to 2010, the beginning of Lenskart.
An ex-Microsoft techie, with a few cents, a truckload of dreams, and aspirations, and vision for India, revolutionized the Eyewear market we all know of it. Currently, Lenskart is one of the biggest and fastest-growing eyewear companies. His vision, “India ko chashma pehenana hai”, built him into a visionary. In spite of obstacles all along the way, the man never gave up and became a role model for crores of Indians. His inspiration and achievements continue to inspire millions.
Vineeta Singh: The Woman who raised the SUGAR levels in Indians
Founder, and CEO (Chief Executive Officer) of SUGAR Cosmetics, Vineeta Singh is an inspiration for girls, and women all over India. She too, had very humble beginnings. Born, and brought up in Delhi, she completed her schooling at Delhi Public School. After that, she went on to do BTech. in Electrical Engineering from IIT (Indian Institute of Technology), Madras.
After getting her, degree, she got an MBA from IIM (Indian Institute of Management), Ahmedabad, after which, she rejected an Rs. 1-crore package in her early days, and pursued her dream of becoming an entrepreneur, a self-made woman, who lives on her own terms. She and Kaushik (her husband) identified the gap in the Cosmetic Industry in India and launched their brand, SUGAR Cosmetics, known today for its high-quality products, and affordable prices. She has the dream to make a brand for women of all skin tones, and types. She bootstrapped the company and worked day and night to build a brand. She never gave up on her dreams and that’s made SUGAR Cosmetics one of the most renowned brands in the market.

Falguni Nayar: The Heroine of Her Own Life
