What is a Distance BBA?

Distance BBA is a UG (Undergraduate) program for students who fail to avail on-campus, or online education due to time constraints, lack of resources, or other reasons. It is very similar to Online BBA programs. The only difference is that Distance BBA lets students learn at their own pace, in their own time. The programs take a different approach than Online BBA for communication. Email communication, Learning Management Systems (LMS), Online Portals, and other methods are used for lessons, and course materials. Students can choose to attend weekend or evening lectures on campus, or regional centers for clarifying doubts.

Key Points to Know

Distance BBA is a 3-year UG program, divided into 6 semesters. Each semester runs for 6 months. The maximum time for completion of the course is 5 years.

Completion of the 10+2 examination (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks (or equivalent) from a recognized and affiliated board of education is the minimum eligibility criterion for admission.

Admission does not typically require an entrance examination. However, some universities may conduct individual screening procedures.
